Collection: GIOVANNI BLANCO

Giovanni Blanco (1980, Ragusa, Italy) lives and works in Sicily. A painter, he constructs his research through narrative cycles in which each image is a fragment of a larger story. For him, painting is a means of knowledge and experience, never an end in itself: a place where thought becomes form, memory, and vision. Each project arises from a direct contact with reality and develops as a thematic framework that intertwines history, poetry, and everyday life. The painting thus becomes an open device, capable of embracing the complexity of the gaze and the plurality of reality.
