Collection: T-YONG CHUNG

T-yong Chung (Daegu, South Korea, 1977) lives and works between Milan and Korea. His research intertwines classicism, Arte Povera, and minimalism, blending the fullness of Western culture with the essentiality of Eastern culture. He uses discarded materials and transforms them into sculptures and installations that reflect on identity and memory. Known for his plaster, ceramic, and bronze faces, he introduces cuts and subtractions that evoke absence and continuity. Recently, he has explored new visual dimensions through fabric printing techniques.
