Collection: ROBERT PAN

Robert Pan was born in Bolzano in 1969. He studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Urbino. He currently lives and works in Bolzano. The artist creates his works through a lengthy process involving the superimposition of numerous layers of resin. He uses physical and chemical processes of acid corrosion, copper application, and iron oxidation, as well as other techniques to achieve specific chromatic nuances. Resin, a material Pan has worked with for many years, lends nobility to gesture and presence, in pursuit of a vibrant force. While remaining formally abstract, his works evoke macro- and micro-natural forms, celestial landscapes, or geological structures, arousing in the viewer a sense of perceptual and visual uncertainty. His polychrome objects are always the result of an experimental production process, resulting in a true alchemy of color.
