The work is part of the This Is Not Love, What You Did project, an installation consisting of 393.62 meters of love that explores the complexity and contradictions of this feeling, questioning what we are used to calling “love.” Each heart is a fragment of this journey. It is not a decorative element, but a presence laden with experience: it contains a gesture, a memory, a wound, or a possibility. It stems from a simple and unresolved question: what do we truly mean when we talk about love?
This is not love, what you did is not just an affirmation, but a starting point. Each work is located in that unstable space where love defines and contradicts itself. Some hearts guard the fragility of tenderness, others bear the marks of loss; still others go through waiting, desire, irony, or disillusionment. Each represents an emotional position, a precise moment within a broader map.
