The artwork is part of the project This Is Not Love, What You Did, an installation made of 393.62 meters of love that explores the complexity and contradictions of this feeling, questioning what we are used to calling "love". Each heart is a fragment of this journey. It is not a decorative element, but a presence full of experience: it encloses a gesture, a memory, a wound or a possibility. It stems from a simple and unresolved question: what do we really mean when we talk about love?
This is not love, what you did is not just an affirmation, but a starting point. Each work is located in that unstable space where love is defined and contradicted. Some hearts guard the fragility of tenderness, others bear the signs of loss; still others go through waiting, desire, irony or disillusionment. Each represents an emotional position, a precise moment within a broader map.
