In this series of drawings on paper, color remains the true protagonist. The images emerge as interior landscapes, reflections of moods and sensations, intertwining balance and dialogue between humanity and nature. Each work thus becomes an essential synthesis, in which thoughts and perceptions take shape through a decisive and immediate graphic gesture.
To create these works, the artist uses traditional techniques and high-quality materials. The chosen paper, 640 g, is deliberately thick and durable, to offer not only a strong visual presence but also a tactile sensation, almost like bark. The pigments used include antique Indian ink, opaque tempera, and watercolors, enriched by the use of gold, a symbol of light and splendor. The marks are drawn at different rhythms: slow and meditative, or rapid and instinctive.
The suggested shapes may recall seeds, fragments of landscapes, or visions of woodlands. In any case, they always evoke a reflection on nature, understood both as an external environment and as an internal, intimate, and vital dimension.
