The work brings together six instrumental compositions created after the discovery of a series of cassette tapes in an old box. The now-unknown sound content is a collection of soundscapes of places recorded 20 years earlier and forgotten by the artist.
From this point begins a journey through synthetic sounds and sounds of the Mediterranean tradition, field recordings and concrete sounds, passing through electric instruments and ancient, archaic and ancestral instruments such as frame drums.
The images tell, in the form of a “mirage,” of the places that appeared among the objects abandoned in the artist's studio, found and photographed during the creation of the compositions.
